MICHELLE QUARTI MACHADO DA ROSA

Post-doctoral researcher in Health Technology Assessment at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG); PhD in Medical Sciences from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ); Professional Master's in Public Health from New York University; Master's in Medical Sciences from UERJ; nursing degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS).
A project coordinator with approximately 10 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams across national and international initiatives. She led the implementation of the "Rio Urban eHealth Project," designed to test a sustainable health model and expand access to healthcare services in the Santa Marta favela, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (funded by the New Cities Foundation and CISCO).
She led a human resources capacity-building project in public health, promoting exchange between Brazil and Portuguese-speaking African countries with support from Gavi, a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation initiative. She served as an assistant professor in a clinical research program at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is a member of the National Institute of Science and Technology for Health Technology Assessment (IATS).
She is currently a researcher at the Health Technology Assessment Unit (ATS) of the Center of Excellence in Health Technology and Innovation (Ceti-Saúde) at UFG, and serves as an international consultant for the Pan American Health Organization, supporting Latin American countries in vaccine technology assessment and recommendation.
